Pray to Keep Destructive Behavior from Establishing a Stronghold

Lord, I pray that You would protect my husband (wife) and me from any kind of self-destructive behavior. Open our eyes to see if we have allowed habits into our lives that have the potential to harm us or others. Bring to light anything we need to see so that we will have nothing hidden from one another. If we ever open ourselves up to bad or destructive habits, help us to get free quickly. Give us the ability to cope with any frustration or anxiety we may be dealing with by taking all concerns to You and each other and not looking for relief from outside resources.
